梨园的法曲部与胡部乐舞兼收并蓄，
御驾的玉辇经过长亭又穿过短亭。
河鼓星暗中期盼随着日转星移，
马嵬坡的遗恨之血染红了尘土，腥气弥漫。
西归途中重新奏起《凌波舞》曲，
故老们相视无言，唯有涕泪涟涟。

The River Drum secretly follows the sun's turn, its tryst kept out of sight,
At Mawei, the blood of regret stains the dust, a scent of bitter blight.
Returning west, she dances again on rippling waves, a heavy reprise,
The old folks watch each other, but can only weep with tearful eyes.
