傍晚时分，我们在江边亭子握手道别，
送别的马儿转身返回幽深的山谷。
青翠的山峦衔着落日的余晖，
烟雾笼罩的树木锁住了我忧愁的心绪。
徒然地将黄金捣碎成悲伤的泪水，
又有谁能理解这白石清音中的心意？
我殷勤地嘱托传信的鱼雁，
希望他日你不要漂泊沉浮，音信全无。

We clasp hands at riverside pavilion as dusk falls,
Our parting steeds turn back into the deep ravine.
Green hills hold the last glow of the setting sun,
Mist-veiled trees lock in my sorrowful heart.
In vain I pound gold into tears of grief,

With earnest care I entrust my words to wild geese and fish,
In days to come, may you not drift aimlessly.
