与你一同眺望吟咏，意趣无穷无尽。
那时我们一同遥指白云之外；
今日我却独自穿行在青翠的山峰之中。
暂且放下公文案牍，聊以自适；
乘着竹轿穿行山隙，仿佛你与我同行。
心中已先赴九嶷山的秋日之约；
岩间月色斑驳，桂子正红。

With you, gazing and chanting, our thoughts never end.
Back then, we pointed together beyond the white clouds;
Today, I walk alone amidst the green peaks.
A brief respite from official papers brings ease;
Taking a sedan chair through gaps, as if you were here.
My heart arrives first at the autumn date in Jiuyi;
The moonlit rocks are dappled, osmanthus blooms red.
