打开窗户等待月亮经过，
移动竹席去就那吹来的凉风。
硕大的老鼠在深夜喧闹，
高处的蝉在半空中鸣响。
我长久地思忖着时节万物的变迁，
露水已经打湿了莎草丛。

The heat's unbearable, I cannot stay;
I rise and walk beneath the forest shade.
I open the window, waiting for the moon;
I move my mat to where the breeze is made.
Bold rats clamor in the depth of night;
High cicadas shrill in the mid-air sky.
I muse on how all things in time must change—
The dew has now soaked through the sedge nearby.
