Lonely, few friends follow me around,
Such a man is not easily found.
In pure poverty, now like Zhongzi you stand,
With sparse wit, a young Yuan Long, grand.
You, carefully wield your poetic pen,
I shall dodge the arrow's point, then.
Strive to sing in this prosperous age,
Never mimic the cold cricket's mournful page.
