我阐明道义，您尊崇道统，
我们共同享有晚节的光辉。
看遍了后来那些堆积柴薪的人，
仅存从前那位看花的少年。
凋零堪叹，如同瓜被采摘三次，
年老退隐，仍贪恋一袋粟米。
只愿弟兄们都能安享白发晚年，
多多获得祠官的考核，媲美汾阳的功绩。

I uphold the bright Way, you revere the Dao,
Together we share the glory of our later years.
I've seen all those who came after, piling firewood high,
Only the former flower-viewing lad remains.
It's sad to see the decline, like a melon picked thrice,
In retirement, still greedy for a sack of grain.
I only wish that brothers may enjoy gray hairs,
And often receive temple honors, rivaling Fenyang.
