树叶如同羽盖般华美，岂是寻常可比，
百步清凉的树荫，仿佛锁住了碧绿的云霓。
美好的政绩已让人想起召伯的仁德，
英武的风姿偏偏与将军的称号相称。
静静地铺开讲席，麟经的教诲润泽人心，
高高地拂过枝条，兔影在枝叶间分明。
更有那历经岁寒霜雪而不凋的操守，
切莫将它与无用的樗栎之材相提并论。

Its leaves like feathered canopies, beyond compare,
A hundred paces of cool shade lock in green clouds there.
Good governance recalls the thoughts of Duke Shao, we're told,
Heroic air best fits the title "General" bold.
Silently spread, the lecture mat is moistened by classics' grace,
High brushing the branches, the hare's shadow finds its place.
Moreover, it holds the integrity of winter's frost and snow,
Never liken it to the worthless trees that aimless grow.
