One pillar here still holds the land.
A thousand fathoms high, the rock stands proud;
On all sides, waves have left their trace, a shroud.
Midst rivers and lakes, it stands as a mighty guard,
Its roots entwined where tempests rage hard.
Those resting safe on level ground,
May praise the Five Peaks, renowned.
