习惯行医,闲暇时便施舍草药给人。
为了赊酒,总是自己提着酒瓶前去。
他劝诫世人要多行方便,与人为善。
何必再去诵读那些佛经呢?
Asked his age, I learned he nears a hundred years.
Hunched and bent, his form resembles a turtle's shell.
He pays no heed to the affairs of sons and grandsons.
His sole concern: to read the stars for flood or drought.
Accustomed to healing, he idly dispenses herbs.
To buy wine, he carries his own bottle to town.
He urges the world to practice kindness and ease.
