洙水与泗水承载的千年道统孤独地延续着，
师友相传之道却早已沉寂。
在柯山的风雪之间，
古雅的韵律如金石般铿锵回响。
我出生得太晚，
心志劳苦，以至须发早赤。
大道只在于持守中正，
如同饥渴时对饮食的渴求。
智慧过度与愚昧不足，
两者都同样背离了自然的法则。
虚静的心舟从真机出发，
门庭之内便充满了盎然春意。
用圣贤的言语来印证，
内心充实，方才真正有所领悟。

For a thousand years, the pure stream of Zhu and Si has stood alone,
The way of teacher and friend has long fallen silent.
Amidst wind and snow on Mount Ke,
Ancient melodies ring out like metal and stone.
My life began far too late,
My resolve is bitter, my hair and beard turned red.
The great Way lies solely in holding to the center,
Like food and drink to the hungry and thirsty.
If wisdom exceeds it, folly falls short;
Both equally lose Heaven's rule.
An empty boat sets forth from the genuine pivot,
The courtyard fills with the hues of spring.
Stamped with the words of sages and worthies,
Fully satisfied, one then attains realization.
