蝉在幽深的树林中鸣叫。
矫健的鹰隼正学习飞翔捕猎，
欣喜地看见萤火虫倾泻流动的光芒。
早晚间凉风将要兴起，
我要重新缝补那件白色的毡裘。

The intercalary month brings an early season,
Summer's evening feels like a fresh autumn day.
The moon rises, the empty hall is still,
Cicadas chirp, deep in the shadowy trees.
Vigorously, the hawk learns to hunt;
Joyfully, I see the fireflies' flowing light.
Soon the cool breeze will begin to blow,
I shall mend again my white felt robe.
