昏暗的梅雨时节送来绵绵细雨，
麦子在风中萧瑟地迎接秋天。
四月本应是暑热开始消退的时候，
在南方却要再次穿上厚重的皮衣。
昆仑山摇动，仿佛地轴在震颤，
渤海水上涨，江河也泛滥横流。
天意如此反常，毫无缘由地错乱，
百姓的生活因此充满了无尽的忧愁。

Dark clouds bring rain from the plum trees' gloom,
The wheat fields shiver, welcoming autumn's breath.
The fourth month should see summer's heat consume,
Yet in the south, we don thick robes against death.
Mount Kunlun shakes, the earth's axis is torn,
The Bohai swells, the rivers overflow.
Heaven's ways are twisted, without reason born,
The people's sorrows, endless, grow and grow.
