我搭建茅屋，赏玩着蓬草与藿香，
反而害怕听到人的脚步声传来。
有时拄着藜杖出门去，
走入兽群中，它们也不惊乱。
稀疏的雨洗去了残留的暑气，
夕阳淡淡地映照着微弱的余晖。
俯仰之间，万物姿态纷呈，
逍遥自在，排遣了尘世的纷扰。
内心的适意该如何述说？
将心意寄托给那孤飞的云彩。

I built my hut to enjoy the wild herbs and vines,
Yet I dread the sound of human footsteps near.
Sometimes I go out with my staff of thornwood,
And mingle with beasts without causing them fear.
A light rain washes away the lingering summer heat,
The evening sun casts a faint, tranquil glow.
Looking up and down, myriad forms I greet,
Free and at ease, I let worldly troubles go.
How shall I tell of this joy that fills my breast?
I entrust my heart to a lone cloud flying west.
