急骤的雨仍可倚靠它们躲避，
斜照的夕阳也不妨碍安眠。
山童勤快地清扫着落叶，
小孩子不要惊动鸣蝉。
世俗常轻视幽静寂寥之境，
我这柴门正依赖这素朴偏安。

Two lovely trees stand by my humble abode,
Clustered together, veiled in misty haze.
They withstand sudden showers on the road,
And bask in slanting sunrays, calm and unfazed.
The mountain lad sweeps fallen leaves with care,
The young child, hush, don't startle the cicada's song.
The worldly scorn this quiet, serene air,
But my rustic gate relies on this peace all along.
