积雪深重昏暗，春天被阻隔不得来临，
流逝的时光骤然已过去了十分之三。
树根蜷曲、枝条折断的景象令人挂念，
而我衣衫破旧、鞋履穿洞尚可自堪。
天枢运转错乱了寒暑节令，
地轴开合偏差了南北方位。
天地在隐秘中推移变化世人难以测度，
怎能找到一位雄辩之士来畅谈这其中的奥秘？

Deep snow lingers dark, spring delayed and banned,
Time's flowing light has swiftly fled, three-tenths unmanned.
Roots coiled, branches broken—things pitiful to see,
Clothes worn, shoes pierced—yet I can bear this plight, still free.
Heaven's pivot turns, confounds the cold and warm,
Earth's axis opens, shifts the south and north from norm.
The cosmos shifts in secret, none can comprehend,
Where find a master of debate this truth to rend?
