冬至刚过不久，二月便已到来；
北方的阴云和连绵细雨从未散开。
阴沉的白天遮蔽了日光，漫长得如同绣线；
寒气夺走了阳和之气，暗中使律管中的葭灰飞散。
困于冰中的迟归大雁多是后续南飞的队伍；
幽香飘荡在水上，怜惜着残留的梅花。
想要招引晴日和暖意，并无其他办法；
怎能指望凉风在一夜之间就回转呢？

The winter solstice has just passed, and February arrives;
Northern clouds and drizzling rain have yet to clear away.
The gloomy day hides sunlight, long as an embroidery thread;
The cold seizes warmth, stealthily turning the ash of the pitch-pipe.
Winged travelers trapped in ice are mostly late geese;
Faint fragrance drifts on water, pitying the lingering plum blossoms.
To summon clear skies and warmth, there is no other art;
How can I make the cool wind return in a single night?
