像从沙中淘洗，又经百般锤炼，何等珍贵；
为救济世间，这五铢钱币，圆润周正。
它们的颜色都如此相似，难以区分；
颁布流通，正顺应了自然的法则。
萧瑟的秋意早早地降临；
沾着晶莹的露珠，花朵开得鲜丽繁盛。
我的贫寒连侏儒俳优都自愧不如；
却有劳你这金钱花，来慰藉我眼前的困顿。

Sifted from sand, refined a hundred times, precious;
To aid the world, the five-zhu coin, round and sound.
In hue, all seem alike, hard to tell apart;
Issued for use, it fits the natural order found.
The soughing autumn air arrives so early;
Glistening with dew, its blossoms fresh and bright.
My poverty shames even the dwarfish jester;
Yet you, dear flower, console me in my plight.
