你偶然失身被捕获，羞于与家禽同列。
秋风在半夜刮起，天鹅与大雁双双迅疾掠过。
万物各自寻求适宜的生活，我听着你回归辽阔的天空。
白云映入你的双眼，你怎肯屑于停留方寸之地？
千万不要去追逐鹌鹑麻雀，它们（的格局）不足以断绝。
它们不过混迹在粮仓之中，结成朋党进行偷窃。
伯劳鸟最是可憎，擅自让芳草凋歇。
努力经受住霜雪的考验，方能成为鸟中的豪杰。

By chance you were caught, shamed to be ranked with domestic fowls.
The autumn wind rises at midnight, swans and wild geese sweep past in pairs.
All creatures find their own fit place; I listen as you return to the vast void.
White clouds enter your pair of eyes; would you deign to soil a foot of ground?
Take care not to chase sparrows and finches; their petty ways are not worth cutting off.
They merely linger in granaries, forming cliques for stealthy theft.
The cuckoo is most detestable, presuming to make fragrant grasses wither.
Strive through frost and sleet seasons, then you'll be a hero among birds.
