为迎接新年，献上椒酒以表颂祝，
为留住腊月，白雪驻留带来寒意。
春日的花朵偏早地开放，
微微增添了暮色的宽广。
宫阙如琼瑶般点缀着九重城，
百官身着玉帛制成的华服。
想要记下这甘泉宫的盛会，
留待他日盛暑时节再来观看。

To greet the year, pepper wine we raise in praise,
To halt the winter, snow lingers with its chill.
Spring blossoms arrive early, slanting in gaze,
Slightly extending the dusk's glow, wide and still.
Jade-like the ninefold city gates appear,
Silks and furs clothe the myriad officials here.
I wish to record this Sweet Spring Feast so grand,
To read in future years, when summer heat's at hand.
