我的身体如同孤独的仙鹤栖息在林间，
对各种事务都无所营求，只喜爱清闲。
最惬意的时刻是在早晨晒背取暖，
未能忘怀情感之处是在傍晚眺望远山。
安静地拿起《周易》从头开始阅读，
醉意中随手删改着唐诗篇章。
因为喜爱石桥上皎洁的月色，
柴门常常到了深夜还依然关闭。

Free from all cares, I love a life unplanned.
Most content when sunning my back at dawn,
Still moved to gaze at hills when day is gone.
In quiet, I read the Book of Changes through,
Drunk, I edit Tang poems, old and new.

My wicket gate stays shut till night is deep and drear.
