采摘香草，又用清泉漱洗，保持高洁，
拄着手杖漫步而来，到得已迟。
客人们坐着，自顾自地交谈，
僧人入定禅修，对此全然不知。
稀疏的风悄悄潜入屋内，
幽暗的流水在池中细细鸣响。
我在石床上小睡片刻，
梦中还在寻觅诗句。

Gathering fragrant herbs, I rinse myself clean,
Strolling with my cane, I arrive late and serene.
Guests sit and converse among themselves, unaware,
The monk in deep meditation, beyond any care.
A gentle breeze slips quietly through the door,
Hidden waters murmur softly by the pond's shore.
I doze off briefly on the stone bed, and soon,
In dreams, I search again for a line of a tune.
