我们简陋的门户相距很近,来往方便,
希望你时常能过来我的草庐坐坐。
Connected to that thatched cottage of yours,
I watch as you first lay out your dwelling's plan.
The old man is truly advanced in years,
What then of the young boy, his grandson?
Let the elder diligently enjoy his cup of wine,
And have the child taught to read Daoist texts.
Our humble gates are near, the coming and going easy,
From time to time, please cross over to my hut.
