骑马奔行在长楸夹道的路上。
阴冷的风吹落了林中枯叶，
朝阳冲破了寒冷的晨雾。
公文事务也显得从容优游，
宾客朋友安慰我这迟暮之年。
未曾学习神仙之道，
却欣喜地向往山泽原野。
静谧的境界出于自然天成，
美好的游历并非随意聚集。
筹划杯酒只需片刻功夫，
询问菜肴蔬食也无需多虑。
聆听高雅琴音，自觉惭愧，
但应和歌声，容我执鞭驾车同游。

With thoughts serene, affairs tend to simplicity;
When inspiration strikes, plans need no prior utility.
Leaving court at the Gate of Ritual's might,
I ride my horse down the Catalpa Road in light.
A bleak wind strips the forest of its dried array,
The morning sun breaks through the cold mist's gray.
Official documents, too, are leisurely and slow,
Friends and guests console my twilight's gentle glow.
I never learned the arts of gods and immortals' lore,
But find joy in the marshland that I adore.
A tranquil realm emerges from nature's own design,
A worthy outing is not a random crowd's combine.
Cups and wine are planned for a fleeting while,
Dishes and greens inquired without a care or guile.
Ashamed I am to hear the lute's refined tone,
Yet joining in song, I'll hold the reins, not alone.
