流水仅如一条衣带般纤细，
居民们聚集在它的两岸生活。
池塘的一侧草木格外繁茂，
傍晚时分，山间聚拢了云霞。
通往郢都的路想必不会太远，
在梦魂中，我已回到了家。

Tired of winding mountain paths, I travel on,
And find a small town bustling with cheerful sound.
A stream, just like a ribbon, winds its way along,
Where dwellers gather on its either bank are found.
The pond is rich with plants and trees on its side,
At dusk, the hills collect the clouds and sunset hue.
The road to Ying may not be far, I realize—
In dreams, my soul has already journeyed through.
