平静的湖水漫上高耸的楼台，
天空与水仿佛争相涌入。
在古岛间萦回曲折，
空阔之中，众多景致汇聚于此。
这个大邦护卫着东南，
设立府治记载着百十年的历史。
虽然胜游每日都来，
又怎能忍心任其旧貌残破不修？
贤能的名声继承了和乐平易，
敏捷的政事常显得从容有余。
欣喜听闻栋梁已焕然一新，
方才见到规模已然确立。
横空出世，藻丽令人目眩，
结构高远，险峻让人生愁。
居然心意与之相合，
仿佛并非人力所能谋划。
草木也因此增添了光华，
神采气象已非往昔旧习。
青翠凝聚在傍晚的云气中，
清冷激荡着回旋的湿风。
归鸟朝着暮色飞去，
潜鱼在幽深之处静伏。
通达的生命贵在平和旷达，
对外物要舍弃虚妄的执着。
水边泽地正令人欣然，
苍茫的碧波仍可捧取。
虽说吏隐是最佳境界，
世间又急切地需要登用贤才。
徒然让歌颂棠树的诗篇，

The calm lake laps against the towering terrace high.
Sky and water strive to merge, as if they'd vie.
Winding through ancient isles, a scene unfolds.
Vast and open, myriad views the place holds.
This great state shields the southeast, a bastion grand.
The governor's seat records a hundred and ten in the land.
Though fine outings come daily, one cannot ignore.
How could we bear to leave its layout flawed of yore?
Able renown follows the kind and just, we're told.
In swift governance, leisure is often controlled.
Glad to hear beams and pillars are newly made.
Just now, the grand scale begins to be displayed.
Spanning the sky, dazzling splendor makes one dizzy.
Built lofty, its steepness stirs a worry.
Surprisingly, the heart and mind find accord.
As if not merely by human plans restored.
Grass and trees gain added glory, fresh and bright.
The divine aura is not the old, familiar light.
Green congeals in evening haze, an emerald hue.
Cold stirs the circling wind, dampness seeping through.
Departing birds point toward dusk in flight.
Hidden fish gaze from depths in silent night.
To live free values peace and open space.
Reject the vain grasp for things in any case.
The marshland is truly pleasing to the eye.
The blue-green waves can still be dipped, nearby.
Though said to be the best of hermit-officials' state,
The world again seeks worthies, urgent and not late.
Only to let the ode of the pear tree remain,
For a thousand autumns, its meaning to sustain.
