楚地的河水何时才能再度变绿？
我听见归来的大雁，前后相继的鸣叫声。
长久以来，我漂泊在江湖之上，
忍受着南北奔波的艰辛。
雁群的心意与这温暖的阳光一样和畅，
它们的鸣叫声消散在苍茫的云层之中。
那青天高远，本就容易遭遇凌厉的风霜，
更何况（我）还未曾离开雁群独自前行。

When will the southern waters turn green again?
I hear the wild geese returning, one flock after another.
Long have I drifted on rivers and lakes,
Enduring hardships, north and south.
Their spirit soars with the warm sun,
Their cries fade into the distant clouds.
The vast sky is harsh and unforgiving,
How much more so when one is not with the flock.
