行行四五人,长短各有荷。
瓢者帽且髯,席者头不裹。
或牧而尚髫,或负而似跛。
孟光衣颇宽,灵照袖亦拖。
一儿解持棰,一儿才剪棰。
处士独跨馿,牛乃背其媪。
彼羊驱于前,彼猫肩于左。
琴二荻篮双,生计亦甚夥。
应嫌俗子知,必住深山可。
低眉得何句,手卷岂其稿。
若逢李十二,定复歌饭颗。
薏苡或招谗,胡椒能惹祸。
君子哉若人,万物备于我。

想必是嫌弃被俗人知晓,一定要住在深山才行。
他低眉思索得到了什么诗句?这手卷难道是他的诗稿?
如果遇到李十二(指李白),定会再歌咏“饭颗山”之句。
薏苡可能招致谗言,胡椒能够惹来祸端。
君子啊就是这样的人,万物皆备于我(指内心自足)。

What verse did he get with lowered brow? Is this scroll perhaps his draft?
If he met Li Twelve, surely he'd sing again of 'Rice Grains'.
Job's tears might invite slander; pepper can stir up trouble.
A gentleman indeed is this man; all things are complete within me.
