手持符节，他回到了汉朝朝廷，
他的形象，如同麒麟，被万世图册铭记。
历经艰难，他曾作为使臣出使匈奴，
怀着慷慨的忠义，臣子苏武坚定不移。
鸿雁传书，可曾带来什么消息？
节旄早已残破，被啃食殆尽。
他拜谢恩典，趋步走向凤凰宫阙，
挥洒泪水，回忆着（被困）龙湖的岁月。
日月如今依循新君主的旨意运行，
风沙已然迷失了旧日的自我。
仅仅得到一个属国都尉的官职，
展开书卷，只能为之叹息感慨。

With his emblem of office, he returned to the Han court,
His image, a Qilin, in the annals of time is wrought.
Through hardship, he served as envoy in a foreign land,
With unwavering loyalty, Su Wu took his stand.
What news did the wild geese carry? None came to his hand.
His tasseled staff, gnawed away, no longer could stand.
He bowed to receive grace, approaching the phoenix gate,
Tears flowing as he recalled the Dragon Lake's fate.
The sun and moon now serve a new sovereign's decree,
Wind and sand have erased the man he used to be.
A mere post of 'Subject State' was his final decree,
Unrolling the scroll, one can but sigh mournfully.
