隔着竹林，传来敲击茶臼的声音，
在禅房中汲取井水来烹煮。
山中的僧人生火很急切，
野鹤为了避开炊烟而行走。
龙团茶饼被放入鼎中碾碎，
对着窗户，听到如蚯蚓孔窍般的茶水沸腾声。
紫云般的茶气不断升腾飞散，
白鸟向天边飞去，身影明亮。
如云似雾的茶气飘荡着，还带着湿意，
风中的鸟巢在远处更显惊动。
喝下几碗这样灵妙的茶之后，
我将骑着你（鹤）去寻访蓬莱和瀛洲仙境。

Beyond the bamboo, the tea mortar is tapped,
From the meditation hall, well water is drawn for brewing.
The mountain monk blows urgently on the fire,
A wild crane avoids the rising smoke as it walks.
Into the cauldron, the dragon-ball tea crumbles,
By the window, the earthworm's hole sings its tune.
Purple clouds of steam drift on without end,
A white bird flies off, bright against the distant edge.
The cloud-like steam, still damp, floats and drifts,
The wind-stirred nest, far off, is startled yet more.
After several bowls of this numinous brew,
I shall ride you, crane, to visit Peng and Ying, the isles of immortals.
