圆润碧绿的新生荷叶层层叠叠，
难以像铜钱那样用柳条穿起。
它们的倒影映在茭白和蒲草之外，
仿佛在鸥鹭栖息的水边购置了居所。
夏神刚刚开始执掌节令的权柄，
这水中世界便不再记载年月。
随着暖风渐起，荷叶的价值增长，
可以卷成筒状，供酒船当作酒杯。

Too thick to string on willow twigs, they're seen.
Casting reflections beyond reeds and rushes,
Buying a home beside gulls and herons' hushes.
The Summer Lord first grasps his fiery reign,
In water realms, no calendar's domain.
As warm winds rise, their worth begins to climb,
Rolled as cups for wine boats in their prime.
