独自占据着宽阔而清闲的土地，
全然不知外界已是草木凋零的秋天。
山野林木依然保持着古朴的色泽，
在风霜雨雪中独自度过漫长的年岁。
灵异的根脉如龟伏藏，因而长寿，
禽鸟在绝顶筑巢，仿佛得道的仙客。
成为栋梁之材并非它的志向，
它早已看惯沧海变为桑田的变迁。

Unaware of seasons' withering round.
The mountain woods still wear an ancient hue,
Through wind and snow, it stands the whole year through.
Like a tortoise, its mystic root prolongs its age;
