卷烟阁西边，官道漫长延伸，
一条河水向东流去，襟怀沧浪之波。
山势相连如蹲踞的老虎，岩壁状似屋宇，
栈道连接着飞鸾般的山峰，巨石作为桥梁。
田野四季都在歌颂这片乐土，
关隘山河相隔千里，远离蛮荒之乡。
我来到这里已有九年，忝居地方官治理百姓，
愿亿万年长久，人们都传颂这太平安康的时代。

West of the Mist-Wrapped Tower, the official road stretches long,
A stream flows eastward, embracing the azure waves in its fold.
Mountains link like crouching tigers, cliffs shaped like houses strong,
Plank paths join soaring phoenixes, stone beams the chasms hold.
Fields and hamlets sing of a blessed land through seasons four,
Passes and rivers stretch a thousand miles, keeping barbarous lands away.
For nine years I have come, tending the people with care evermore,
For countless years to come, we shall speak of this prosperous day.
