这座百尺高楼，巍峨壮观，

群山环绕，流水萦回，
秀美的景色相互映衬，妩媚动人。
上面没有狐鼠之辈窥探，
下面却有鱼龙为之敬畏。
宾客友人登上这清虚之境，
边远部族仰视，肃然起敬。
南方边疆暂且粗略安定，
北方边地却正燃起烽火。
我倚靠高楼独自为了什么？
仍为忧心国事而流下泪水。

A hundred feet high, the tower stands grand and tall,
Its construction is of the most splendid kind.
Encircled by hills and girdled by waters' call,
Their fair hues in mutual enchantment entwined.
No fox or rat dares peep from the top floor,
While fish and dragons fear the depths below.
Friends ascend to the pure and empty core,
The tribes gaze up in awe, their reverence to show.
The southern border enjoys a crude peace,
While the northern frontier sees beacon fires rise.
Leaning on the tower, what purpose do I seek?
Still, I shed tears of worry for the nation's cries.
