是这偏远的海边深山。
往日的雄心如今已沉寂，
我过去的道路曾充满困顿艰难。
宴饮时甘愿吃着粗茶淡饭，
苟且偷生也忍着享用鲜美的肉食。
再次回头望向故乡的方向，
挥洒泪水，融入淮河的天空。

To what place have I fled for refuge?
To the farthest mountains, by the boundless sea.
Grand ambitions now lie cold and still,
My path of old was fraught with hardship and delay.
At feasts, I find coarse fare sweet to my taste;
To cling to life, I bear the shame of fresh-killed game.
I turn my gaze once more toward my homeland,
And shed my tears into the Huai River's sky.
