白昼与黑夜本是循环往复，
天与地都遵循这个道理。
人生的出世与入世之机，
大致可以用昼夜的差别来比拟。
修仙之人效法蝉的蜕壳，
超然脱去，遗弃那腐朽的躯体。
却还将白骨珍藏起来，
仿佛仍未忘却生死之念。

Day and night revolve in cycles,
Heaven and earth share this principle.
The coming and going of human life,
Can be likened to the difference of day and night.
Taoist masters learn from the cicada's molt,
Shedding the mortal shell, leaving decay behind.
Yet they treasure and preserve their bleached bones,
As if not yet free from thoughts of life and death.
