Leaning by the water, I watch returning clouds drift away.
Spring has quietly reached the distant sea's edge,
The mountain path suddenly divides at its waist.
The slumbering dragon must be weary of sleep,
A sudden flash of lightning startles our discourse.
The stork, aware of the moment early,
Turns and flies, not waiting for the flock.
