门前简直就像是浣花溪流淌，
坊巷深处让人怀疑是否名叫碧鸡坊。
短小的船只在横波中随暮霭漂浮，
遥望山峦，雨已停歇，看朝云升起。
长须的奴仆便能去打酒，
幼小的孩子也懂得浇灌菜畦。
想效仿沈约赋写郊居生活，
只愁误读了“雌霓”的发音。

Before my gate, it seems the Huanhua Stream flows;
Within the lane, I doubt if Blue Rooster's name shows.
A short boat drifts through waves as evening mist descends;
On distant peaks, rain stops, I watch the morning ascends.
My bearded servant can go out to buy the wine;
My little son knows well to water the garden line.
I wish to write a country life poem, following Shen Yue,
But fear I'd misread "female rainbow" and cause a wrong note.
