春日的江水静静流淌，泛起游动的细浪，
傍晚的疾风却怒吼着，掀起汹涌的波涛。
归家的心绪催促着船夫加快划动船桨，
惊魂未定，只能将安危寄托于汲水的桔槔。
主人殷勤留客，忽然忘了旧日的交情；
我仿效王子猷雪夜访戴，怎敢推辞辛劳？
船工奋力推挽着船舵，使出全部力气，
真令我面对你们这些人，感到无比惭愧。

Spring waters flow serene, with gentle waves at play,
Yet evening winds stir up a wrathful, surging sea.
My homeward thoughts now hasten the boatman on his way,
My startled soul finds refuge in the well-sweep's simple plea.
To keep me here, the host forgets his former guest;
To seek a friend, how could I ever shun the toil?
The helmsman strains and pushes with his utmost zest,
Making me feel ashamed before such honest moil.
