路径漫长，僧衣的下摆分开。
无论是醒是睡，我都思念着山林丘壑；
在这行旅途中，我怀想着简朴的生活。
从西边而来，是有意为之吗？

At White Water Temple, the water appears whiter still;
At Sparse Mountain, the mountain seems not sparse at all.
The woods are deep, temple bells echo in succession;
The path is long, a monk's robe parts as he walks.
Awake or asleep, I yearn for hills and valleys;
On this journey, I cherish the simple life.
Coming from the west, with intention or not?
