海上的商贾时常划桨来迎接你，
山神想要下山，以桂枝作为旌旗。
《九歌》应当续写湘妃的哀歌，
千百年来，尘土遮蔽了曹娥碑文。
午夜潮水平静，波浪宛如白练，
萧瑟的风吹竹声与山猿哀鸣，令人悲戚。

The ancestral shrine overlooks the homeland's rivers and mountains wide.
Merchant ships from the sea at times come rowing to welcome you,
The mountain lord descends, with cassia banners waving in view.

For ages, dust has dimmed the stele where the young wife's tale resides.
At midnight, the tide is calm, the waves like a silk ribbon spread,
The rustling bamboo in the wind, the mournful apes on the ridge, fill me with dread.
