三年过去，打开箱子，墨迹依然如新，
行踪虽然疏远，情意却更加亲近。
云雾笼罩着渚宫，使远方的梦境迷离，
青海的战事纷扰，困住了飞扬的尘埃。
我飘零在剑门关外，身为参议之客，
悲伤地想起山阳旧事，感怀故人。
古往今来的交情，如同泼出去的水难以收回，
为你，我洒下泪水，在这新春时节。

Three years, the ink in the box still fresh and clear,
Though paths diverged, our bond grows ever more dear.
Clouds veil the southern palace, distant dreams fade,
War on the blue sea traps dust that would evade.
Adrift beyond the sword gate, a counselor alone,
At Mountain Yang, I mourn for the friend I've known.
Friendship through ages, like water spilled, won't mend,
For you, my tears fall, welcoming spring's end.
