众多的杂草耗费着锄草的力气，
回头一看，田地已经荒芜遮蔽。
它们到处竞相生长，杂乱繁茂，
苟且偷生，没有长远的志趣。
有时也吐出柔弱的藤蔓，
牵引着勉强依附攀爬。
我安坐家中，叹息自己力量微薄，
门庭荒芜杂乱，令我感到惭愧。

Weeds demand the hoe's relentless toil,
Yet looking back, a wild expanse remains.
They vie for space, a tangled, rampant coil,
Content to live, devoid of grand designs.
At times they sprout soft tendrils, frail and slight,
That cling and climb, a forced, dependent bond.
I sit and sigh, my strength is not so great,
My courtyard shames me with its wild, untamed frond.
