苍青的鳞片困于摧残剥落，
古老的鬣毛渐渐凋零谢去。
没有地方能逃脱斧斤的砍伐，
岂会愿意在深夜里闪耀光芒？
万头牛徒然回首张望，
踌躇不前，为那广厦而叹息。

The dragon, parched, sheds its flowing essence;
The essence melts, the body transforms itself.
The azure scales are trapped and stripped away;
The ancient mane gradually withers and falls.
No place to escape the axe and adze;
How could it wish to shine in the deep night?
Ten thousand oxen turn their heads in vain,
Hesitating, sighing for the vast mansion.
