我已是白发满头、老态龙钟，
菊花在清秋时节招引着我。
幸好在东篱边可以安顿于我的乡土，
怎能忍受在这南方之地掌管此州？
不要再回忆当年头戴风巾漫游汉水之滨，
应早早呼唤雨笠去寻访沧洲那隐逸之地。
明年举杯共饮又会在何处？
我已预先吩咐家僮酿好浮着蚁沫的新酒。

The yellow chrysanthemums invite me to the clear autumn.
By the east fence, I'm glad to settle on my own land;
How can I bear to govern this southern state?
Do not recall the wind-scarfed outings on Han's shores;

Where shall we hold the wine cups next year?
I've told my servant boy to brew the foaming ale in advance.
