古老的松树傲然挺立在前方的山岭上，
稀疏的梅树横卧在浅浅的溪流边。
喜鹊在巢中躲避寒风，
鸡在竹林间啼叫，仿佛在呼唤雨水。
原野空旷，黄昏时分仍有牧人未归，
田地干旱，春天到了却还未犁耕。
路途遥远，行人已疲惫不堪，
只好就近在树林中栖息。

The ancient pine proudly towers over the ridge ahead,
Sparse plum trees recline by the shallow stream.
A magpie hides from the wind in its nest above,
A chicken calls for rain amidst the bamboo grove.
In the vast wilds, herdsmen linger at dusk,
On parched fields, spring ploughing has yet to begin.
The road is long, the traveler weary and spent,
He seeks shelter only in the nearest woods.
