My banners and canopies shield me from the rain's command.
Benevolence and integrity, two words I hold dear,
Loyalty and filial piety, a lifetime's heart sincere.
Leaving the province, I lightly regard the marquis seal,
Returning home in peace, I inquire of my official wage's yield.
With my family, under the moonlight that fills half the window's space,
I steer my boat back to the ancient banyan tree's cooling shade.
