葛布衣服，冬天已近尾声；
黍米饭食，日头即将西斜。
我愿与山岳般厚重、渊泉般高洁的贤者为伍，
轻视许、史那样权贵豪门的毫发之微。
浩然正气使我忘却了世俗的忧虑，
与书剑相伴，度过一生。

The vulgar age all runs after gain;
My poor heart alone detests gaudy display.
My hempen robe, winter is already late;
Millet meal, the sun will soon slant away.
Mountains weighty, deep springs, I keep company with the worthy;
Hairs light, I scorn the houses of Xu and Shi, powerful and worldly.
Vast and boundless, I forget worldly cares;
With books and sword, I'll spend all my years.
