曾经目睹白雪收敛的时节。
清亮的光辉如同分得了积聚的美玉，
爽朗的气息忽然带来了高爽的秋意。
全家虽然一同享用这冰，
我的双亲却独自在别的州郡。
淮南地势低洼潮湿，
这冰怎能代替兰草这样的佳品进献给他们？

Once I watched the white snow gather from the sky.
Its clear gleam shares the glow of piled jade so bright,
Its brisk air suddenly brings autumn's lofty height.
Though the whole household shares this joy together,
My parents dwell alone in a different sphere.
Huainan's land is low, damp, and far from fine,
How can this ice replace the orchid's gift divine?
