平时总是悬挂在高高的楼阁上。
若是夸赞这酒味醇美，
姑且劝路过的行人品尝。
只为浇灌愁肠，使心胸宽畅，
何必畏惧守门恶犬的凶狂。
客居之心正彷徨不定，
遇到这酒帘，慰藉了旅途的孤寂。

A hundred feet in the wind, the tavern sign sways,
Always hung high above the pavilion's gaze.
If you boast of the wine's fine taste,
I'd urge the passing traveler to make haste.
Just pour it to ease the sorrow in your heart,
Why fear the guard dog's vicious bark?
The traveler's heart, adrift and frail,
Finds solace here, beyond the pale.
