Yet ice and snow still stand jagged and high.
Half turned to mud, the paths are wet and bound,
Especially hindering carts and horses to go by.
Streams have formed into small, branching flows,
Sea mists disrupt the newly cleared sky.
This gloom must be dispelled, the heart unclose—
Who will ascend the ancient town with me?
